• To promote Jordan, which has an endless array of awe inspiring destinations; from ruined Roman cities, unique Nabatean landmarks and Crusader castles, to desert citadels and powerful biblical sites. 

• To provide visitors from across the globe the opportunity to get to know Jordan and what it has to offer. 

• To give locals the opportunity to rediscover Jordan, as well as introducing them to places they might not have visited before. 

• To encourage tourist bloggers and global trekkers to attend the event as well as promote it. 

• We support the UN resolution for reducing accidents on the road and we will highlight this during the event. 

• Road safety measures are introduced into the Road Book, highlighting best practices and awarding participants for their awareness and commitment. Teams arriving early/late are penalised. 

• To control the speed limit of competitors hidden check points will be placed on the road. These points will check that all safety measures are being implemented. Moreover, safety marshals will be scattered along the route to ensure participants are safe at all times. 

• Capturing the motoring enthusiasts in a socially driven, fun event which is our primary focus.

• Putting everything in place to make sure our participants enjoy everything about their time in Jordan. 

• A dinner party will be organized at the end of each daylong trip for people to unwind to the fullest. 

• The entertainment activities on offer will provide all drivers with an ideal opportunity to share their respective stories and indulge themselves in our Arabian nights. 

This is a paper rally, it is a two day tour across the country with a treasure hunt that allows participants to unlock the route and move to their next destination. Participants pay a fee that covers their registration, along with a two night stay at 5 star/unique accommodations including lunches and dinners. 

We aim to use sport as a means of creating shared experiences within the national community and exploit its role as a tool for social integration. Sporting events are also a means of showing the wider world our culture and heritage as well as helping raise Jordan’s international profile. With sport tourism now the fastest growing sector in the global travel industry, we believe it has a big role to play in aiding the country’s development by helping establish its reputation as a leading destination for sporting events.  These events are pivotal given their capacity in creating an increased awareness of the region and clearing the misconceptions regarding the region.

 The DJRT route has been extensively planned and outlined so as to have participants explore as much as possible. It involves touring the significant historical, religious and touristic sites the country has to offer, and to increase the enthusiasm, a Road Quiz/Treasure Hunt also forms part of the event. 

With so many options to travel these days we don't feel the urge to explore our own country, DJRT is a unique opportunity to discover Jordan, get to know people, places and stunning views in a unique competition full of fun and excitement. We didn't miss on any season so far and every year we are getting to see more of our beautiful country, enjoy drive to new places and roads.. looking forward to next one.
